How to plan a cheap wedding.

(mood lighting on the cheap)

I was looking for stuff online and found this article:
http://ezinearticles.com/?How-to-Plan-a-Cheap-Wedding&id=16735

It's fantastic! It is by a woman named Claire Bowes who has a wedding planning online site:
http://www.weddings.start-home-based-business-ideas.com/

We'll see about that one later...
however, the first article has me very inspired...
I've been looking at catering and my jaw has been dropping...$185 a plate at the Allerton!

(a cheap meal of carrots)

It costs $5000 to rent the Newberry Library.
On national average, I hear it costs $25,000 to have a wedding these days!
It's CRAZY how expensive being alive is!!!

However, Chicago is also a great place to get married...it's a nice, central location for our families. We have two airports. Hotels. Apartments. Friends.
It is also the place where Bernhardt and Stacy (moi) fell in love.

(keepin' the romance alive, 2007)

All of this destination shopping without a list is futile. In order to begin the planning, we need to know how many people we will be inviting...let the list begin!
